WATCH: Cake designer creates ginger bread ‘Home Alone’ house for film’s 30th anniversary
Bless this highly nutritious bakeable Home Alone ginger bread house and the people who spent 300 hours making it. Amen.
At first glance, you’d think this was a high-quality mini replica of the iconic McCallister home from Home Alone — take a closer look, though, and you’ll see this is in fact a ginger bread house with SO much more detail than just the house itself!
“To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the UK release of Home Alone, a spectacular gingerbread scene replicating the famous McCallister home has been unveiled today by Disney+. The house was created by cake artist Michelle Wibowo, and includes many details to spot from the movie including the Wet Bandits’ van, paint cans from the infamous booby trap and a mini Kevin falling off his sled in the snow.”
This took Michelle over 300 hours to complete, being over 5’5″ long & 4’1″ wide.
