Man arrested in connection with bank card fraud

A 48-year-old man from Campbellton, N.B., has been arrested in connection with an investigation into bank card fraud.

Campbellton RCMP arrested the man at his residence on October 29, 2018.

Police had issued a news release on October 25 with the man’s photo, in hopes that someone could help identify him. He was wanted as a person of interest, after being seen on surveillance video at three locations in Campbellton where a woman’s bank card had been used fraudulently.

The man was released on a promise to appear in court on January 28, 2019.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
