RCMP investigating armed robbery at Tide Head convenience store

The Campbellton RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a convenience store in Tide Head, N.B., and is hoping information from the public can help identify the person responsible.

On January 3, 2019, at approximately 9 p.m., an armed man entered McDavid’s Convenience Store on Restigouche Drive and demanded money from the employee. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The man is described as being approximately five feet 10 inches tall, with a heavy build, possibly weighing around 230 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, a red jacket, black winter boots and gloves. He left the scene in a red, two-door car.
