Here’s a reason to celebrate today…

NATIONAL STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM DAY

Well this one comes as no surprise as this month is National Strawberry month…but today specifically, it’s celebrating the delicious combination of the berry and the cream!

Fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream is a must when strawberries are in season. They are the perfect, refreshing, light snack on a beautifully warm day!

While strawberries and cream makes a great dessert, it can also be eaten for breakfast or a snack. You can also add a little granola for texture. If you enjoy chocolate, drizzle a little on top. No matter how you enjoy your strawberries, you just cannot go wrong with this treat.

When the U-Picks open (and hopefully they will with social distancing in place) it will be great to get out and pick some fresh berries too because hey, you can enjoy berries and cream anytime…not just today!
