DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate National Acadian Day in the Campbellton Regional Community on Thursday\, August 15!• 9 a.m.: Special activities at the outdoor rink as part of the Tide Head Area recreation program (11 Mountain Street\, Tide Head Area).• 2 to 4:30 p.m.: Family activities at the outdoor rink in the Atholville Area (104 Mair Street) – crafts\, bean bags toss games\, face painting\, cupcakes\, music and more.– 2 p.m.: Music with Renelle Levesque and Tracy Lapointe.– 3:30 p.m.: Music with Daniel Poirier.• 5:30 p.m.: Flag raising at the Petite-Rochelle Monument (near the lighthouse) on Salmon Boulevard in the Campbellton Area\, followed by a tintamarre at 6 p.m. (starting at the lighthouse and ending at Salmon Plaza on Andrew Street).• 9 p.m.: Performance by Les Gars du Nord at the Alma Hall in the Atholville Area as part of the Summit Festival. Tickets are $15 (cash only) and on sale at City Hall\, 76 Water Street\, Campbellton Area. \n
